Terms and Regulations
The use of the CU People personal web page service is governed
by the following terms and conditions. All registrants must agree to these
terms and conditions when they sign up for the service.
- The University will immediately suspend access to material
on the CU People server upon receipt of notice of a potential violation
of university policies and codes, or state or federal laws. Any such
suspension will apply to all of the registrant's pages, at least until
investigators are able to determine a course of action.
- As outlined in Information
Technologies Rights and Responsibilities, federal, state, local,
and university regulations apply to this service. Activities prohibited
by those regulations include, but are not limited to:
- Users of this service are bound to all applicable university
policies and codes, including:
- This service is for posting users' personal web pages.
Users may not use their allocation to provide space for other individuals
(including friends and family) or for organizations (including clubs
and charities). Cornell provides web space elsewhere for instructional
support, registered student organizations, offices that provide student
services and departmental offerings. For more information, see the introduction
