Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University.

My research is primarily in Kant and early modern philosophy, but I am also interested in contemporary epistemology, aesthetics, and philosophy of religion.

I'm the faculty advisor for Logos: the Undergraduate Journal of Philosophy at Cornell, whose excellent editors do all the hard work.

Here are my CV (pdf) (html), some online papers, and the website for the course I teach most springs.

If you'd like, you can look over the table of contents of the Festschrift that I recently co-edited

,

or click here to send me an email.

Here's my favorite Vegan blog (truth in advertising: this is run by some friends of mine, and I am not myself a vegan, though I sometimes aspire to it),

and here is the site for one of my favorite bands (truth in advertising: I went to college with these guys).

Stay tuned for the development of Kantians.org...
